I enclose for the information of the Board of Trade copies of letters on the subject from the managers of the Tramway with minutes thereon by Mr Chatham, Acting Director of Public Works and Mr Bowdler, Special Engineer on the Tramway Reclamation.
As Mr. F. A. Cooper, Director of Public Works is at present in England on leave of absence and cannot give the fullest particulars, I have to suggest that he be instructed to place himself in communication with the Board in regard to this subject.
